Steph Curry has been sidelined for the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Steph Curry’s absence from the Golden State Warriors’ upcoming game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scheduled for November 14, has been confirmed by The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The 35-year-old guard will be sitting out due to knee soreness as the Warriors enter their second in-season tournament game, aiming to avenge a previous loss to Minnesota.

In the initial 11 games of the season, Curry has undeniably been the standout performer for the Warriors, showcasing All-NBA caliber skills. With impressive averages of 30.7 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.9 rebounds, along with shooting percentages of 48.8% from the field and 44.6% from beyond the arc, Curry’s absence will undoubtedly be felt. In his stead, Chris Paul is expected to step into the starting lineup.

Known for his proficiency as a primary ball-handler in a pick-and-roll-oriented offensive system, Paul’s inclusion will likely prompt adjustments to Steve Kerr’s overall offensive strategy. Warriors fans will be eagerly awaiting Curry’s return, with hopes that he’ll be back in action for the November 16 matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
