Asia Cup: India beats Sri Lanka by 41 runs
In the Super-4 round of Asia Cup, the Indian team defeated Sri Lanka by 41 runs in its second match. With this, Team India has reached the final.

Asia Cup: Now India will face the winner of the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. However, before this Team India has to play a match against Bangladesh. In this match, India won the toss and batted first and scored 213 runs and in response the Sri Lankan team was reduced to 172 runs.

India has defeated Sri Lanka by 41 runs. With this, Team India has made it to the finals of Asia Cup 2023. Batting first, India scored 213 runs in 49.1 overs. In response, the Sri Lankan team was reduced to 172 runs in 41.3 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma scored the maximum 53 runs for India. Rahul contributed 39 runs and Kishan contributed 33 runs. For Sri Lanka, Dunith Velalage took five wickets and Charith Asalanka took four wickets. Dunith Velalage scored the highest 42* runs in the Sri Lankan innings. Dhananjay de Silva contributed 41 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets for India. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each.

India is likely to face the winner of the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the final. However, the equation may change if the match is canceled due to rain, but Bangladesh team is out of the race for the final and Indian team’s place in the final is confirmed.
